South African hitmaker Prince Kaybee dropped a bombshell on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday afternoon, and fans are still trying to process the pain behind his post. The “Gugulethu”  hitmaker got brutally honest about a scary health issue affecting his brain—and it’s not a drill.

“I suffer from SERIOUS AMNESIA and I am a bit emotional and frustrated at how my memory is deteriorating man.💔”

“I am scared this will lead to missing life opportunities which will make me very incompetent and I HATE THAT.”

If that wasn’t heartbreaking enough, the DJ went on to express fear about how this condition could affect his most important role yet: “Not gnna lie, this is rocking me man, I have kids to raise💔.”

And just like that, Mzansi’s tough guy let us in on his real-life battle—and Twitter had feelings.
