A multi-vehicle crash, which involved a fuel tanker, resulted in the tragic deaths of at least three individuals on Thursday as confirmed by the Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety.
The accident occurred on the N12 highway, and it has been attributed to the dense morning mist that covered the area between eMalahleni, Delmas, and Ogies.

According to Moeti Mmusi, the spokesperson for the department, the three fatalities were all occupants of one of the sedans involved in the multi-vehicle crash.
The exact number of casualties and the severity of injuries are yet to be determined. Currently, emergency personnel and law enforcement officers are present at the scene, and as a result, the road remains closed.
