Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba will be visiting the ambulance assistant in hospital who survived a devastating head-on collision between an ambulance and an SUV.
The ambulance was responding to an accident scene in Belevue Village when the collision happened on the R81 road at the Lemondokop turn.

Tragically, both drivers involved in the collision lost their lives upon impact, while the ambulance assistant, three patients on the ambulance, and the three occupants of the SUV survived. All the survivors are currently receiving medical treatment at various hospitals.
Mec Dr Phophi Ramathuba is saddened by this horrific accident and keen to personally extend her support and well-wishes to the courageous individual who is bravely battling through this difficult time.
