A Canadian timber wolf named Logan recently made headlines after escaping from his enclosure in Benoni. The wolf had been removed from its owner due to allegations of neglect and was under the care of Absolute Exotics SA.
Christo Myburgh, a representative from Absolute Exotics SA, stated that Logan would be relocated to a sanctuary that could cater to his specialized needs. The escape alert was issued by Myburgh on New Year’s Day, shortly after the wolf had come into their care on New Year’s Eve.

Fortunately, the escape did not last long as Logan was recaptured by a private security company. Myburgh released a statement just after midnight on Thursday to announce the successful recovery of the wolf.
