Oh, the drama never ends in the world of celebrities! This time, it’s singer Makhadzi who finds herself in hot water, as a makeup artist accuses her of failing to pay for services rendered.
The star was recently handed a letter of demand by Hedwin, a Cape Town based Makeup Artist, who is seeking payment of R4950.

According to Hedwin, she and her partner provided Makhadzi with two services on 7 and 12 December, but have yet to receive any payment.
To make matters worse, Makhadzi has been ignoring their calls and messages, leaving the frustrated makeup artist with no choice but to take the matter public.
Hedwin even shared screenshots of her messages with Makhadzi with SurgeZirc SA, further fueling the controversy. You can have a look at the chats below and some of the work done by the makeup artist.
As news of the unpaid bill spread, Makhadzi’s fans took to social media to express their disappointment and urge her to settle the debt.
One fan, kagiso__leballo, bluntly stated, “Pay the poor makeup artist her money!” Another fan, thick_thando, questioned Makhadzi’s pattern of not paying people, saying, “Why are you so against paying people? Everyday it’s stories of you not paying other women.”
Even those who admire Makhadzi’s talent couldn’t help but chime in. plymerakiisi pleaded, “Love your grind but please pay your makeup artists. Surely not all of them can be singing the same story, and it’s false.”

angeliquekleynhans highlighted the importance of supporting fellow black women, saying, “You know I love your performances, but Sana, please settle your make-up bill. We worked really hard, for one black woman to not pay another for a service delivered…mind you, the travel expenses they incurred. I beg…please pay your mum @makeup_by_hedwin deserves to be paid.”
It remains to be seen how Makhadzi will respond to these allegations, but one thing is for sure – this is a lesson in the importance of paying your bills, no matter who you are!
