Connie Ferguson Dragged For Dancing With Malik Yoba: “Distasteful And Disrespectful!”

South African TV royalty Connie Ferguson has the streets talking — and not in a good way. After a steamy dance video with American actor and Kings of Joburg co-star Malik Yoba hit the timeline, Mzansi had a lot to say — including controversial YouTuber Slik Talk, who didn’t hold back on his accusations.

The viral clip, which surfaced shortly after the premiere of Kings of Joburg Season 3 on Netflix, shows Connie and Malik getting close and cozy on the dancefloor. Malik plays Veronica Masire’s love interest in the series, and apparently the chemistry didn’t stay on set — or at least that’s what fans are speculating.

Slik Talk Explodes: “Mama Connie, Why?!”

One thing about Slik Talk? He’s always going to insert himself where no one invited him — and this time, it was Mama Connie in his crosshairs.

“I just saw a video that is kind of distasteful for me. I do not want to lie. Like Mama Connie, why?” he ranted in a scathing YouTube upload.

He went on to drag the widow for “twerking for some Americans,” saying, “This video rubbed me the wrong way because it hasn’t even been five years since your ‘soulmate’ passed away. But you’re already twerking for some Americans.”

Slik didn’t stop there. He questioned whether Connie was dating Malik and added a slick jab: “Has Stella gotten her groove back?”

He ended his rant with a plea: “Please, can you show some respect for Shona Ferguson. That man was somebody I looked up to and respected. Out of respect for him, please at least do it lowkey. Do not put it out for the world to see.”

And just to throw in extra shade, he called Kings of Joburg “trash.”

While Slik was busy crying into his ring light, South African netizens came through guns blazing in defense of Queen Connie — and dragged the YouTuber in the process.
