Truck Driver Flees Scene Following Multi-Vehicle Collision In Temple Valley, KZN

In the Temple Valley area of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), a recent incident involving a tip truck has raised significant concern among local residents and authorities alike.

Reports indicate that the driver of the truck fled on foot following a collision, which resulted in the vehicle overturning.

Details of the Collision

The incident occurred during the early hours of Saturday morning when the truck reportedly collided with another vehicle.

Eyewitnesses described an alarming scene as the tip truck veered off the road before it overturned. Upon arrival, Law enforcement officers found a white Mercedes Benz tip truck lying on its side.

The driver of a silver Kia Picanto reported to the officers that the truck had collided with her vehicle on Todd Street. The tipper then hit a white Isuzu bakkie on Garland Street before overturning.

The truck, which was transporting a load of stone, was left abandoned at the scene as the driver fled on foot. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the collisions.
