Shauwn Mkhize Allegedly Implicated In SARS Official Failed Assassination Attempt: Mzansi Reacts

South African socialite and businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize, popularly known as MaMkhize, has found herself in hot water yet again.

This time, she has been allegedly implicated in the failed assassination of SARS lawyer Coreth Naudé. The advocate narrowly escaped death after being shot at by two gunmen on Thursday, 18 July 2024.

Earlier that day, Naudé was examining Mkhize’s financial dealings and those of her businesses at a tax inquiry. The plot thickens as this is not the first time MaMkhize has had a run-in with SARS.

She previously faced a scandal where she allegedly stood to lose her luxury vehicles over a multi-million-rand tax bill. This time, suspicion has turned towards Mkhize, with many questioning her involvement in the assassination attempt.

Despite the allegations, Mzansi isn’t buying it. Social media is abuzz with netizens defending MaMkhize, suggesting she is being scapegoated. User juicystory_xciv commented, “They’re going after MaMkhize now.”
