R100,000 Bounty Offered For Alleged Taxi Hitman Vuyo “Yeso” Tshukela

Western Cape police have launched a high-priority manhunt for Vuyo Tshukela, also known as Yeso, a man alleged to be a notorious taxi hitman.
Law enforcement officials have offered a R100,000 reward for any information that leads to his arrest.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Malcolm Pojie, the provincial police spokesperson, Tshukela has been positively linked to at least four murders related to ongoing taxi violence in the province.

These murders occurred in Philippi East and Nyanga in August 2024, and in Nyanga and Delft in September 2024.
Suspect Wanted For Multiple Taxi-Related Murders
A warrant of arrest has been issued for Tshukela, who remains at large.

His alleged involvement in multiple targeted killings has raised alarm as taxi violence in Cape Town continues to escalate.
“He is wanted in connection with several taxi-related murders that have destabilized communities and increased fear among commuters,” said Pojie.
Police believe the suspect may be moving between various hotspots in the Cape Town area to avoid capture.

R100,000 Reward For Information
Western Cape police management are appealing to the public for assistance in locating the fugitive.

“We urge anyone with credible information on Vuyo ‘Yeso’ Tshukela’s whereabouts to come forward,” said Pojie.
