The Democratic Alliance (DA) is set to release documents to the media in connection with the various cases. This is in relation with resignation from Gauteng Provincial leader.
The party said documents with various cases that served before the Party’s Federal Legal Commission (FLC) against the John Moodey in the interests of transparency and fairness.
However, DA has indicated that details of Mr Moodey’s resignation will also be discussed during the virtual briefing on Thursday.
The briefing will be addressed by the newly-appointed Acting Gauteng Provincial Leader, Solly Msimanga MPL, the DA’s Chief Whip and National Protection Officer, Natasha Mazzone MP and DA National Spokesperson, Refiloe Nt’Sekhe MPL.
Moodey’s resignation has caused havoc on the side of Party’s Federal treating. He added that he was fine with DA led by current Interim leader, John Steenhuisen but the involvement of Hellen Zille costed the party.
The likes of Herman Mashaba, Mmusi Maimane and many other supiror leaders left the party after Zille was elected as Federal Chairperson.
In addition, Maimane took it to Twitter saying that very soon the truth will be out.
The division within the DA cost the party’s credibility ahead of the local government elections set to be held next year.
