South African TV presenter, Phumeza Shoba, has reportedly called it quits on her marriage to Mnqobi Shoba after more than a decade together — and chile, the streets are on fire with reactions!

According to reports, the former Sokhulu & Partners actress filed for divorce in July 2025, bringing her 11-year union to a dramatic halt.

The actress, who recently celebrated her son Mpilo Shoba’s big international gig, is said to have accused Mnqobi of adultery, emotional, and psychological abuse. Not only is she walking away, but Phumeza is also demanding financial support — R45 000 in monthly spousal maintenance and an additional R5 000 to assist with their partially blind son.

Sunday World broke the story on 7 September 2025, reporting that insiders close to the couple revealed the messy details of their split.

Cheating Allegations Rock Phumeza Shoba’s Marriage

While Mrs Shoba has kept mum publicly (she was unavailable for comment at the time of publishing), the allegations are already fuelling hot debates online.

One X user, @Pinkdoll_love, applauded Phumeza’s decision: “Honestly, I think this was a strong and healthy decision. It’s never an easy choice after 11 years, but staying after discovering cheating would’ve been draining. Leaving shows she values her self-respect and well-being.”

Others, however, weren’t as supportive, with @chiefcebo_ suggesting: “Women would never divorce unless they had found a replacement. She has found someone. She should be ashamed of herself.”

Sis Phumeza hasn’t spoken out just yet, but if the reports are true, this is about to be one of the messiest celebrity divorces of 2025.
