Over the past two days, three separate fire incidents have occurred in different camps at the renowned Kruger National Park. According to a recent social media update from South African National Parks (SANParks), the first incident took place on Sunday night at the Skukuza Rest Camp. A notable section of the Nyathi Guest House, which was set for renovation, collapsed.

Fortunately, this unfortunate event did not result in any injuries. As stated by SANParks, “a piece of concrete slab collapsed,” and the guest house will be temporarily removed from the inventory pending its renovation.
