A tragic incident occurred on Saturday when a light aircraft crashed near an airfield in Mpumalanga, resulting in the death of a pilot. The Civil Aviation Authority of South Africa, in collaboration with the South African Police Service (SAPS), is currently investigating the case as a potential culpable homicide.
Upon receiving the distress call, emergency services were immediately dispatched to the crash site in Ermelo.
