According to a Nigerian outlet Punch, Dr Cairo Ojougboh sadly collapsed and passed away shortly after South Africa’s equaliser. The incident reportedly occurred when the penalty was awarded against Nigeria. Witnesses stated that Ojougboh shouted and then slumped due to a massive heart attack when South Africa scored.
