Man Fatally Stabs Girlfriend, Goes Live On Facebook With Details Then Hangs Himself

It is believed that the boyfriend, in a fit of rage or despair, fatally stabbed his girlfriend before disposing of her body in the rented room.

In a tragic and harrowing incident, an apparent murder-suicide unfolded in the quiet town of Tubatse, leaving a community in shock.

On Sunday morning, authorities were called to a residence in Ga-Mashamothane village, where they discovered the lifeless body of a woman, believed to be in her late twenties, lying outside a rented room. The gruesome scene revealed multiple stab wounds inflicted upon her.

According to Police spokesperson Col Malesela Ledwaba, the investigation took a chilling turn when they received information about the deceased woman’s boyfriend. The 36-year-old man was found hanging from a tree in nearby bushes.

His lifeless body dangled, casting a shadow over the tragic tableau. The woman’s vehicle was parked on the roadside, a silent witness to the unfolding tragedy.

It is believed that the boyfriend, in a fit of rage or despair, fatally stabbed his girlfriend before disposing of her body in the rented room.

He then drove to a secluded spot in the wilderness, where he took his own life. However, before taking his life he went live on Facebook to detail how he killed his girlfriend at night over the weekend.

As of now, the identities of the deceased have not been officially released. Their families and loved ones are undoubtedly reeling from the shock and grief of this sudden loss. The community, too, mourns the tragic end of two lives intertwined in a web of love, pain, and desperation.

Col Ledwaba confirmed that both a murder case and an inquest have been opened. The police will meticulously examine the evidence, interview witnesses, and piece together the events leading up to this heart-wrenching tragedy. The community stands united in seeking closure and understanding.
