Loyiso Nkohla was tragically killed in April at the Philippi train station while addressing a crowd of people. Since then, the Hawks have been diligently investigating the case.
In their efforts to bring justice to Nkohla’s family and loved ones, they are now appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mzubanzi to come forward.
Hawks spokesperson Zinzi Hani stated, “The Hawks have been actively probing the case, and they kindly request anyone who might have any information that could shed light on the whereabouts of Mzubanzi to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Sz Hlatshaneni, at 082 479 6265.”

Following Nkohla’s murder, the Hawks have already made several arrests. Zukisa Tshabile, Mziyanda Mdlungu, and another suspect, a 39-year-old man from Peddie in the Eastern Cape, were apprehended. Unfortunately, the latter suspect was found dead in his holding cell last Friday.
The Hawks are committed to resolving this case and are hopeful that with the public’s assistance, they can locate and apprehend Mzubanzi Luyanda Chulayo, bringing closure to the investigation and justice for Loyiso Nkohla.
