Jan Oberholzer’s final day at Eskom will be July 31st.
While Oberholzer had retired at the end of April this year, he continued to work for Eskom as a contractor.
He was on a fixed-term contract, providing support for the long-term operation of the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station and the Kusile Power Station projects.
Eskom expressed gratitude to Jan Oberholzer for his dedicated service, expertise, and valuable contributions throughout his tenure.
The company extended its well wishes for his future endeavors.
This departure comes after the earlier resignation of CEO Andre de Ruyter, leaving Eskom in search of a new CEO to succeed him.
