A shocking incident unfolded in Homu section, Giyani, Limpopo, as a 19-year-old female suspect was arrested on Monday in connection with the murder of her 27-year-old brother. The tragic event occurred on Saturday and has left the community in disbelief.
According to reports, the suspect voluntarily went to the local police station to confess to the crime.

She claimed that she had stabbed her brother with a sharp object during an altercation. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately launched an investigation.
Police spokesperson Col Malesela Ledwaba stated that when the authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered the lifeless body of the victim.

Initial findings suggest that a heated argument between the siblings escalated, leading to the deceased allegedly assaulting his sister. In a desperate act of self-defence, the suspect resorted to using a sharp object, which unfortunately resulted in the fatal stabbing of her brother.
The suspect is now awaiting her appearance before the Giyani Magistrate’s Court. As the investigation continues, the police are working diligently to gather all the necessary evidence and facts surrounding the case.
