South African superstar Makhadzi is out here living her best soft life—and not just musically! While in Ethiopia ahead of her AFRIMA panel appearance, the Murahu hitmaker was spotted in a nightclub getting fed grapes (and possibly love) by a mystery Ethiopian bae.

Yes babes, our girl was literally being fed like a queen while the two giggled and whispered sweet nothings like they were in their own world.

Social media went straight into detective mode, trying to ID the gent with comments flying very fast. One user, @Mlimo_Insider, said, “Would pay top dollar to hear the exchange here,” while @IsaacMbongela added, “She’s finding love in strange and far places.”

Meanwhile, @NtshepyK came through with the realest line: “Let Makhadzi be please. She also gets hor*.”* The timeline was unhinged, and we were here for it!

Makhadzi Goes From Club Whispers to Conference Panels

Beyond the nightclub whispers and spicy moments, Makhadzi’s Ethiopian trip wasn’t just about romance. The Limpopo queen is flying the South African flag high after being selected as a panelist for the 2025 Music Beyond Borders Conference at the prestigious African Music Awards (AFRIMA).

In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared: “I am happy and excited to be part of the 2025 AFRIMA awards panel. This really means a lot to me as a musician to be trusted and recognised to come and state my mind about African music.”

Booked and busy is an understatement! But who says a little romance can’t be part of the itinerary?
