Kidnapped Woman Found With Multiple Injuries In Graveyard

A 46-year-old woman from Mpumalanga was brutally kidnapped in front of her three children and later found abandoned in a graveyard with multiple injuries and a rope around her neck. The harrowing incident took place on Sunday, July 7, at Mphatseni, Masoyi, outside Hazyview.
Captain Magonseni Nkosi, the provincial police spokesperson, reported that the woman was discovered on Thursday, just after 8 AM, at the Kamajika New Cemetery.
According to Nkosi, the woman was kidnapped by three armed suspects, whose faces were covered during the incident. The victim was positively identified by her family members.

In a separate but equally tragic incident, residents of Pienaar found the burnt body of a teenage girl on Wednesday around 6 PM.
The body was discovered in the mountainous area between Pienaar and Kanyamazane, outside Nelspruit. Captain Nkosi stated that the lifeless body was seen by a passer-by, and police along with medical practitioners were summoned to the scene where she was declared dead.
Captain Nkosi mentioned that a team of investigators has been assembled to arrest the perpetrators involved in both incidents. The authorities are working diligently to bring justice to the victims and their families.
These tragic events have shocked the local community and highlighted the urgent need for enhanced security measures to protect vulnerable individuals. The police urge anyone with information about these incidents to come forward to assist in the investigations.
