It’s so unfortunate that Vuyo Dabulo will be out of work from March 17 because of past mistakes. The star who plays the role Kumkani “Gadaffi” Phakade will be leaving on sad note since he doesn’t know where to go from here, when it comes to his career.

You’d remember that last year Vuyo was cast for the Netflix series Queen Sono Season Two where Pearl Thusi plays the lead role. When he approached his bosses for some time off,  the producers of the show gave him an ultimatum.

He had to choose between Queen Sono and Generations: The Legacy, the star who thought that the Netflix series was a big break for him then chose the series. However, things turned out really ugly when he heard the news that the series didn’t have enough viewership and will not be renewed.

Going back to plead with the producers of the show that was giving him stable income didn’t work in his favour, Vuyo is now forced to say goodbye to his fans. Talking about his exit his bosses confirmed that the star has a very huge female fan base. “Some people watched the show because of him. So his departure might turn some off. Only time will tell. His last scene is scheduled to air on 17 March,” they said.
