Phat Joe And Family Evicted From Luxury Sea Point Apartment After Failing To Pay R600k Rent

The Western Cape High Court issued an order for Phat Joe and his family to vacate their upmarket apartment after failing to pay the monthly rent of R40,000. The accumulated unpaid rent since 2022 had reached a staggering R600,000.

Phat Joe, whose real name is Majota Kambule, and his family have recently been evicted from their lavish Sea Point apartment in Cape Town. The outspoken TV and radio presenter allegedly owes more than half a million rands in unpaid rent, resulting in the eviction.

The Western Cape High Court issued an order for Phat Joe and his family to vacate their upmarket apartment after failing to pay the monthly rent of R40,000. The accumulated unpaid rent since 2022 had reached a staggering R600,000.

Phat Joe was reportedly handed an order by the Western Cape High Court to be evicted from the apartment by May 31, and “should they fail or refuse to leave the property by the deadline, the sheriff was authorised to evict them on Saturday, June 1”.

Despite the financial strain, Phat Joe’s relationship with his wife, Palesa Morgan, remains strong. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she celebrated their eight years together, five years of marriage, and their two beautiful children. She expressed gratitude for their journey and hinted at exciting things to come.
