The KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Thami Ntuli, has expressed profound shock and sadness over the passing of Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule, the founder of the Crown Gospel Awards.

She tragically passed away on Monday morning at a Durban hospital after battling cancer. Mbokazi-Nkambule was 52 years old. Her death marks a significant loss to the community and the broadcasting industry.

Premier Ntuli emphasized Mbokazi-Nkambule’s impact as a pioneer in the broadcasting field, particularly during her tenure at Ukhozi FM.
