Khanya Mkangisa Reportedly Engaged And Ready To Tie The Knot

"I've lived my life. I've travelled. There's always room for more. But then you realize, who's to say you can't still do those things? But for the most part, all my dreams I have tried to reach them in the best way possible," Khanya shared.

Rumours are swirling that the talented DJ and actress, Khanya Mkangisa, is getting ready to walk down the aisle after getting engaged to her partner, Desmond Williams.

While the couple is keeping the news of their engagement under wraps, insiders have spilled the beans on their plans for a summer wedding.

“I think they are aiming for a summer wedding, but knowing how cagey this couple is, they can go to home affairs and just announce that they married,” a source joked.

A Love Story with a Twist

Desmond Williams, the soon-to-be husband of Khanya Mkangisa, is the ex-husband and baby daddy of Mawe Vundla, who happens to be the sister of the popular model and socialite, Tshepi Vundla. Mawe and Tshepi Vundla are the nieces of the renowned creator of “Generations: The Legacy,” Mfundi Vundla.

It seems like love knows no boundaries, as Khanya and Desmond found each other and started dating in 2022. Their relationship blossomed, and earlier this year, Khanya revealed that she had given birth to her first child, a baby boy.

The Journey to Motherhood

In an interview with Nounouche, Khanya opened up about her journey to motherhood and the emotions that came with it.

“When we found out, we were in disbelief. It’s crazy how you’ll still be shocked, although it was like, uhh, what did you think would happen? But you just never know what the universe wants and what God has planned for you, so I cried, obviously,” Khanya shared.

Being a first-time parent can be overwhelming, and Khanya expressed the rollercoaster of emotions she experienced during her pregnancy.

“I’ve been crying a lot with my pregnancy, it’s just so emotional… every day I couldn’t believe that I was baking a whole human,” she said.

Khanya’s love for her newborn shines through as she talks about wanting him to know that he is loved. She believes that this love will give him the confidence to become the best version of himself.

“I think what maybe makes it not so hard is knowing I waited to have a child. I really, really waited, and the last thing I wanted was regret. Now I feel like I’m fulfilled, I have fulfilled my purpose.

“I’ve lived my life. I’ve travelled. There’s always room for more. But then you realize, who’s to say you can’t still do those things? But for the most part, all my dreams I have tried to reach them in the best way possible,” Khanya shared.
