As a spin-off prequel from the drama series Umkhokha, the telenovela takes viewers back to the beginning of the original story to uncover how it all came to be.
After leaving viewers on a cliffhanger with the original series, Umkhokha: The Curse promises a new era as it explores the war between the two families. Rather than continuing where the previous series left off, the spin-off takes viewers back to the origins of the story.
The cast of Umkhokha: The Curse includes familiar faces such as Deli Malinga as MaMzobe, Sibonile Ngubane as Difa, Nay Maps as Sphamandla, and of course, Hope Mbhele as Mabusi. Gcinile Nkosi joins the cast as MaNzimande, replacing Sthandiwe Kgoroge, and Daniel Hadebe takes on the role of Reggie, replacing Mondli Makhoba.
