He further said, “I don’t have an addictive personality anymore. I can smoke like one joint a day.” This revelation has stirred various reactions from fans and critics alike.

The internet was quick to respond with mixed emotions. While some fans expressed concern, urging Emtee to seek rehabilitation, others were skeptical of his claims.

This isn’t the first time Emtee has made headlines for controversial reasons. In 2023, during his divorce proceedings, his wife, Nicole Kendall Chinsamy, accused him of drug addiction while filing a case of assault.
Although she later withdrew the charges, the allegations lingered. Emtee has consistently denied these claims, stating, “Firstly, I don’t know what she is talking about because I’m not on drugs.”
Despite the swirling rumours, Emtee has taken to social media to defend himself. Earlier this year, he tweeted, “All this drug talk is pissin’ me off. I even quit lean. I’ve been sober for a minute, so don’t come to me with that drug talk sh**. I’m done with that life! Stop trying to push agendas here.”
