Lekau Sehoana, the controversial businessman and owner of Drip, is making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Reports have confirmed that Sehoana and his family were evicted from their posh villa at Waterfall Estate after failing to keep up with the rental payments. While Sehoana remains tight-lipped about the situation, the eviction has left his ex-wife and son homeless, thrusting him into the spotlight once again.

According to court documents filed by Waterfall Residents Developments at the South Gauteng High Court, Sehoana owed nearly R100,000 in rental payments.

Despite signing a lease agreement that required him to pay R35,000 monthly, he defaulted in November and December 2023. His ex-wife, Lebogang, returned from winter holidays only to find herself homeless, with the developers refusing to budge on the arrears.

Lebogang has publicly confirmed the news, expressing her frustration with Sehoana’s lies and tricks. She revealed that their son has been out of school for years, despite Sehoana’s bold claims during the launch of Claws sneakers in March 2024.

Lebogang also disclosed that Sehoana refuses to acknowledge her contributions to the Drip business, despite her significant role in its formation. She claims that things changed when Drip’s business began to boom, adding another layer of complexity to an already tumultuous situation.

As the rumour mill continues to churn, one thing is clear: Lekau Sehoana’s personal and professional lives are inextricably linked, and both are currently on shaky ground.
