Cassper Nyovest, the South African rapper, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his hit song “Doc Shebeleza”.
Released in 2014 as part of his Tsholofelo album, the track quickly became a fan favourite and helped solidify Nyovest’s position in the music industry.
In a recent social media post, Nyovest expressed his excitement for how far he has come and promised to do even better in the next 10 years. He reflected on his younger, wilder days and acknowledged how God has shaped and guided him throughout his journey.
“Today marks 10 years of this song. I was a wild young man. God has molded me and kept me in his grace. All the glory to God.
“I’m blessed, grateful, and truly humbled by your support. The next 10 years will be more meaningful, more spiritual, and monumental!!! Die pope sal Daans!!! This gone be special!!!! Wait on it,” Nyovest wrote.
With Nyovest’s newfound spirituality and commitment to his faith, it wouldn’t be surprising if the next 10 years bring a shift towards gospel rap. Fans are congratulating the star on the anniversary of this classic song and eagerly anticipating what he has in store for the future.
