Annie Mthembu, known for her shining presence on Real Housewives of Durban, won’t be returning for the new season on Showmax.
While she initially cited mental health issues as the reason for her absence, recent events suggest that there’s more to the story.
According to Sunday World, Annie and her husband Kgolo Da Guru have hit rock bottom due to serious money troubles.
The couple faced a major setback when Da Guru’s club in Durban was targeted in a theft, resulting in a loss of a whopping R750,000. Da Guru expressed his frustration, denying allegations of non-payment to staff and artists and sharing his struggle to support his late manager’s children.
The financial mess also affected DJ Wobbly, a relative of Da Guru, who took to social media to vent about non-payment.
Despite the chaos, Da Guru is determined to bounce back, promising a full-swing operation for all his nightclubs before Easter weekend.
