Allegations Raise Serious Concerns
Senior political lecturer at North-West University, Dr. Benjamin Rapanyane, emphasized the severity of the allegations, stating that the claims could raise a conflict of interest.
Dr. Rapanyane said, “To ensure full compliance with governance and ethical standards, the deputy mayor must comply with the law to establish if he benefited from the contract.”
DA Demands Transparency And Accountability
DA Tshwane spokesperson on finance, Jacqui Uys, revealed that her party had submitted questions to Mayor Nasiphi Moya, seeking clarity on critical areas to be probed.

Uys demanded a thorough investigation to determine if Modise declared his interest in the company doing business with the municipality and if he still holds a beneficial interest in the company.
However no comment have been made by Moya on allegations tendered.
