Visitors to Samsung’s Argentinian website have discovered something unexpected: a product page for new Galaxy Buds FE earphones, as well as photographs of a Galaxy S23 FE smartphone and Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet.

That’s because, as SamMobile points out, the company leaked its latest Fan Edition gadgets. One of the smartphone photographs shows the date October 4 written on the gadget, which could be a hint at the announcement or a release date.

The corporation has not yet revealed any details about the phone or tablet. The Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE, on the other hand, were purportedly referenced by name on the page. Without a press release or an Unpacked event, this is as near to a formal announcement as Samsung can get.

The product page (which Samsung has since removed) did mention the Galaxy Buds FE, Samsung’s first Fan Edition earbuds. They will have a single 12mm driver, three microphones in each earbud to help with active noise reduction and a three-way speaker.

Samsung’s Fan Edition gadgets have been increasingly popular throughout the years. They typically offer greater features for a lower price than the company’s flagship models. It’s easy to assume that many people will be eager to get their hands on this year’s FE devices.

While the leak looks to have been an accident, we can’t rule out the chance that Samsung purposefully displayed the latest FE devices prior to an official announcement. Around this time of year, major hardware vendors are all competing for your attention.

Google teased the Pixel 8 and Pixel Watch 2 gadgets just before Apple introduced the iPhone 15 range last week – Google’s Pixel event isn’t until October. So, Samsung may have been trying for headlines with this deliberate leak (in which case, it clearly worked).

The more likely possibility is that it was an inadvertent blunder on the part of the firm. It’s definitely not as horrible or as destructive as this week’s major Xbox breach, but you’d think Samsung would have learned its lesson by now.
