Branded as “My Netflix,” this feature serves as a dedicated space housing recently watched movies and TV shows, downloaded content, trailers, reminders for upcoming movies, liked (thumbs up) content, “Continue Watching,” and the “My List” section, among other benefits.

The feature replaces the existing “Downloads” tab, previously situated at the bottom right corner of the mobile screen, as per the company’s announcement.
This innovative feature offers viewers effortless access to all the series and movies they intend to watch, conveniently consolidating them in one place.
The media giant acknowledges that the positioning of the “My List” on the home screen was relatively inconvenient, requiring extensive scrolling to locate it.
By introducing the new tab, the platform aims to significantly reduce the time spent on endless swiping and browsing through Netflix’s extensive content library. The app emphasized the importance of user interaction and feedback to personalize the “My Netflix” tab effectively.
The more viewers engage with the platform and indicate their preferences, such as saving action-thrillers like “Extraction 2” to “My List” or giving a thumbs up to every season of “Bridgerton,” the more tailored their content recommendations will become.

Starting today, iOS users can access the new feature on their tab, while Android users can expect its rollout in early August.
