Springboks And Siya Kolisi Nominated For Laureus Awards

Siya Kolisi, who overcame a serious knee injury in April to lead the Springboks to their second consecutive World Cup victory in October, has been nominated for the Laureus World Comeback of the Year Award.

The Springboks, who secured consecutive Rugby World Cup titles in France last year, have once again been recognised for their achievements. Alongside their captain, Siya Kolisi, they have been nominated for prestigious Laureus awards.

The Springboks previously won the Laureus World Team of the Year awards in 2007 and 2019 following their World Cup triumphs.

This year, they face tough competition from other outstanding teams, including the Manchester City men’s football team, the Spain Women’s Football team, the European Ryder Cup Golf team, the Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula-1 team, and Germany’s Men’s Basketball team.
