Royal AM appears to be getting closer to signing an Orlando Pirates legend with whom they have been linked since 2022.
Happy Jele has arrived at Royal AM and has begun training with Shauwn Mkhize’s club under the watchful eye of returnees John Maduka and Abram Nteo.

Jele was photographed with his soon-to-be teammates, and he appears to be getting closer to completing his transformation to Thwihli Thwahla.
As a free agent, Jele can sign with any team he wants, even if it is outside of the transfer window.
Matter of fact, the 36-year-old defender could have done so earlier in the season because he has been cleared since the day he left Pirates in July 2022.
Jele left Pirates at the end of last season after turning down a non-playing role with the club he had played for for 16 years.
