South African music producer, Prince Kaybee, recently took to Instagram to shower his Grade 10 teacher and father-figure, Kenny Kunene, with heartfelt appreciation and admiration.

In a touching post, Prince Kaybee thanked Kunene for being his protector and guiding light over the years. He wished him continued success in his political career and personal life, highlighting the unique bond they share.

“You’ve been like a father and a protector to me for so many years, since you were my Grade 10 high school teacher to your political success today. Keep going and more life to you,” Prince Kaybee wrote.

While some of Prince Kaybee’s followers were surprised to learn about Kunene’s teaching past, those who have been following Kunene’s multi-faceted life know better.

Kenny Kunene has worn many hats over his 53 years, including that of a high school teacher, businessman, and now politician.

Kunene worked as an English and History teacher after earning his teaching degree, shaping young minds before embarking on his eclectic career journey.

Kunene’s life story is nothing short of a rollercoaster. In 1997, he was convicted of running a ponzi scheme and served six years in prison. However, his time behind bars did not define his future.

Kunene emerged with a renewed focus, building a successful career in business and politics. Today, he serves as the Deputy President of the Patriotic Alliance (PA), proving that redemption and success are possible even after significant setbacks.
