She had sought to challenge the search and seizure warrant obtained by the Investigating Directorate and the recent operation at her Johannesburg home. Additionally, she requested the state to disclose the evidence against her.

Last month, the Investigating Directorate conducted a search and seizure operation at Mapisa-Nqakula’s home in Bruma, Johannesburg. The investigation is linked to allegations of corruption during her tenure as Minister of Defence and Military Veterans.
