Chief whip Siviwe Gwarube accuses the executive of abusing its powers and evading parliamentary scrutiny during the lockdown. The DA is currently challenging the Disaster Management Act in court, further emphasizing their dissatisfaction with the executive’s actions.

According to DA leader John Steenhuisen, President Cyril Ramaphosa’s promises of reform and a new dawn have proven to be a farce.
