Following the build-up to the November municipal poll in South Africa, the Democratic Alliance (DA) in uMngeni says it is ready to take over the municipality from the grip of the
African National Congress (ANC).
This was made known on Wednesday in a statement issued by Philisiwe Memela, the Democratic Alliance’s Communications Manager in KwaZulu-Natal.
According to the statement, the Democratic Alliance (DA) said its Mayoral Candidate, Christopher Pappas will issue an “eviction notice” to the current ANC Mayor of uMngeni Municipality.

As part of the preparation for the election, the Democratic Alliance (DA) noted that it will do a rundown of all of its campaign activities over the course of the last 30-days.
The DA who has been beefing up campaign activities in uMngeni is bidding to secure the administrative seat in the municipal situated in KwaZulu-Natal.
