DA Said It’ll Continue To Fight For The Safety Of Farmers And Farm Workers

The Democratic Alliance (DA) has responded to the Sanekal crisis happening today in Free State town of Sanekal. The party set to defend and maintain safety of Farmers and farmworkers.

The Democratic Alliance (DA) has responded to the Sanekal crisis happening today in Free State town of Sanekal. The party set to defend and maintain safety of Farmers and farmworkers.

Group of farmers went out in numbers, armed to defend themselves against protest set to happen today at Sanekal. There presence of Minister Bheki Cele and Ayanda Dlodlo to maintain peace in Free State.

DA said on their statement that why should people die in order for President Cyril Ramaphosa to get grips with conditions on farms.

“Why must someone die in order for Ramaphosa to get to grips with conditions on farms?,” said DA.

The DA said Farm attacks and murders must be urgently classified as priority crimes. However, this is following response from Cele saying that farm attacks is not on top of their list of priorities.

“The DA will continue to fight for the safety of all farmers and farmworkers. This our message here in #Senekal today,” opposition said.

However, this protest may lead to horrific civil war in the Free State. Although EFF leader Julius Malema said if to defend democracy will lead to civil war so be it.

During interview with Newzroom Afrika on Thursday, Malema said they are not going to listen to people like former President Thabo Mbeki, Jacob Zuma and other because the country is in this crisis because of them.
