Last year, Lasizwe stated that he needed to check himself into a mental health facility because he was not feeling well.

In a recent tweet, the comedian mentioned that treating depression like cancer as soon as possible will save many lives.
“The day people start treating depression like cancer and start attending and treating it early, so many lives will be saved.”

He also said that he is still trying to come to terms with Riky Rick’s death and wished Riky had spoken to someone who acted quickly.
