Cyril Ramaphosa’s administration has once more let South Africa down. Today, 2 September 2020, KwaZulu-Natal celebrities or rather artists came out in their numbers to cry out for help.
The Entertainers have not been earning anything ever since the lockdown began, and they have taken it upon themselves to close the N3 and demand the president to listen to their cries.

However, it was with great sadness to witness how the police rounded them up. They were several factors that the government should have considered before shooting and arresting them:
-Are these people harmful to society
-Are they trespassing
-What is their plea
-Have they done this before?
The answer to all these questions is no, our artists have never for any reason acted in a barbaric manner, in fact, they also stand with the same government which has now decided to silence them with teargas after being locked up for six months with no source of income.
It might look like mere entertainment, but they too contribute a great part to our economy. Last Saturday a great number of bikers which all of them were whites took to the streets to protest, but they all went back to their houses unharmed and none of them was arrested.
Are our black celebrities marginalised because of colour, seeing the likes of Dladla Mshunqisi running for their lives as big as they are, not fun especially considering that they marched on an empty stomach.

Our government has been busy cat fighting each other over IMF and PPE tenders and forgot about all the other industries that have been greatly affected by the inconsistent lockdown regulations.
