On Wednesday, Rustenburg police closed off a portion of Kock Street after a man was brutally murdered, and the murder was captured on video.
Details about the incident were sketchy when this article was published. Nevertheless, information discovered on the CCTV tape revealed the terrible moments in which two armed men assassinated an unidentified male in cold blood.

The incident occurred at approximately 07:54 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. The video, captured by the entry security cameras of Plato Coffee, a cafe on Kock Street near the PSG Wealth offices, showed a man standing outside the shop, completely distracted by his phone.
A woman, who may turn out to be a vital eyewitness, was about to sit at one of the tables closest to the door when the boisterous sounds of gunfire interrupted her peaceful morning.
While the woman was about to take a seat, two guys snuck up on the surprised male victim and shot him in the head, killing him instantly.
The attackers emptied their bullets on the male victim before fleeing on foot.

While it remains unclear how the CCTV footage surfaced on social media, Swisher Post can confirm it originated from the renowned coffee shop.
