Traffic officers in Cape Town were injured in two separate incidents this week as they clashed with taxi drivers.
The first clash occurred in Hout Bay on Monday, where a group of men assaulted two law enforcement officers while they were issuing a fine for a taxi that was obstructing traffic. The city’s MCM for Safety and Security, JP Smith, provided details of the incidents.
