In a shocking incident, two women, aged 33 and 42, were reportedly raped during a prayer session in the open field at Dikoting section Moletji, Mmotong. The incident occurred on Thursday, May 16, around 5:30 PM.
According to Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the spokesperson for the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo, the victims were attending a prayer gathering in the bushes when an unknown African male suddenly appeared, brandishing a firearm.
The assailant demanded their cellphones and robbed one of the children of a cellphone and an undisclosed amount of cash. He then instructed the victims to walk with him, leaving their children behind.

A second suspect joined the first, and they forced the victims to undress before sexually assaulting them. After the horrifying ordeal, the suspects fled the scene.
The SAPS is urging the community to come forward with any information that could assist in the investigation.
