A tragic event unfolded near Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, when a house fire claimed the life of a child who was trapped inside. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday in Ezakheni.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue, emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a house completely engulfed in flames.

Firefighters bravely fought the fire and managed to extinguish it, but unfortunately, the child remained trapped and was unable to escape the blaze.
Despite the efforts of paramedics and rescuers, the child could not be saved and was declared deceased at the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by authorities to determine the cause.
