Police in Germiston have initiated a manhunt for unidentified gunmen who fatally shot two individuals on Thursday.
The victims were targeted while seated inside their vehicle. According to police spokesperson Mavela Masondo, the motive behind the shooting remains uncertain, but there is a possibility that it may be linked to taxi-related conflicts.

Reports indicate that the victims were inside their car when they were attacked. These tragic shootings occurred amidst widespread disruption for thousands of commuters in Germiston, Katlehong, Tembisa, and other areas. Taxi operators initiated a work stoppage in response to the government’s decision to deploy buses on the taxi routes.
