A tragic incident occurred in Carolina, as a 27-year-old woman who worked as a mine manager was fatally shot. The Mpumalanga police are currently investigating the crime, aiming to unravel the mystery surrounding this shooting incident.
According to Colonel Donald Mdhluli, the provincial police spokesperson, the victim was about to leave for work when the shooting took place.
The circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear, necessitating a thorough investigation. Both the police and paramedics were promptly alerted to the scene.
Upon arrival, the police discovered a white Toyota bakkie with the engine running, while the victim remained motionless in the driver’s seat. Tragically, she had sustained bullet wounds to her upper body and was pronounced dead by the attending paramedics.
As of now, the motive behind the killing remains unknown, and it is uncertain whether any items were stolen during the shooting.
