As a result, the case has been postponed to allow for the bail application. The next court date has been set for 7 December, when the accused’s lawyer will be present to proceed with the bail application.
This shocking turn of events has left the community and the congregation of Pastor Liezel de Jager in disbelief. The investigation into the murder continues, and more details are expected to emerge as the case progresses.
