In a devastating incident on the M1 South near Empire Road in Parktown, four individuals lost their lives in a single-car crash.
The incident occurred when the driver of a BMW lost control along the M1 South highway, resulting in the vehicle rolling over into a nearby Toyota dealership. Tragically, the four occupants inside the car were trapped and did not survive the accident.
Gauteng Emergency Services spokesperson, Robert Mulaudzi, confirmed that the scene of the accident has been handed over to the South African Police Service and the Johannesburg Metro Police for further investigations.
