Ordinary Ukrainian citizens are joining the military in an effort to push back Russian troops, inspired by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The ex-beauty queen, was posing in flirty frocks, red painted nails, and glamorous hairstyles earlier this month.

After posting a picture of herself in military armour on her Instagram account over the weekend, the 2015 title winner revealed that she had volunteered to defend her country.
She captioned her photo with the hashtags “standwithUkraine” and “handsoffUkraine.”

She also issued a strong warning, stating that “anyone who crosses the Ukrainian border with the intent to invade will be killed.”
Even in military regalia, Anastasiia looked like a real-life Lara Croft. The 31-year-old vowed to protect her country at all costs, sporting braided hair, a natural face beat, and, of course, lash extensions.

Anastassia also described President Zelensky, who refused to leave his country, as “a true and strong leader.”
The former Miss Ukraine is one of many civilians who have taken up arms to defend their country from land invasion.

Photos and videos of a man with a prosthetic leg and a couple who joined the forces on their honeymoon have gone viral on social media.
According to media reports, civilians have been receiving combat training in recent weeks. On the streets, they dress in civilian clothes and carry rifles, while wearing a yellow arm band to indicate that they are “volunteer soldiers.”
